Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements are vehicles by which couples can address financial issues that might arise during a divorce. Pre-nuptial agreements are entered into prior to the parties marrying (usually during the couple’s engagement) whereas post-nuptial agreements are entered into after the couple has already wed. Allison has experience negotiating and drafting both pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and also has experience addressing issues that arise when one member of the couple seeks to enforce such an agreement at the time of divorce.
