Nobody wants to find themselves in a situation where the Department of Children and Families (“DCF”) (formerly, the Department of Social Services, or “DSS”) is investigating them or their family. However, should such a situation arise, Allison has an abundance of experience representing individuals and families through the so-called “51A report” and “51B investigation” processes, through ongoing assessments by DCF social workers, and through legal actions initiated by DCF. Allison also has experience representing clients at DCF Fair Hearings and in appeals from decisions rendered at those hearings.
